Description

The device is designed for mechanical cleaning of potatoes and round root vegetables. It is perfect for peeling sprouts from potatoes or root beards from celery. The working element is a mesh or rod drum with an appropriately selected mesh size / gap between rods, which, rotating at an adjustable speed, tears off waste from tubers and separates the soil. The separated remains fall to the bottom onto a chute or belt conveyor.
