RS/RS-H | Roller Grader

Application

The RS/RS-H Roller Grader gently sizes round and oblong crop by diameter using a series of forward moving grade rollers. The machine is manufactured in versions handling 3,4 or 5 crop sizes and a working width of 800/1000/1200/1500/1800mm.

Operation

The working element consist of forward moving grade rollers made of acid resistant steel. The spacing between the rollers in each bed can be manually adjusted through a crank mechanism (mounted on both sides) or an electrical system. The sized crop gets onto dedicated belt conveyors and then through fall breakers (adjustable chutes with hydraulic cylinders) into pallet containers. The RS/RS-H Roller Sizer can be equipped with a dozing in-feed conveyor or a flat in-feed conveyor, optionally with an additional pre-sizing unit (to remove crop with the diameter exceeding the max value before the batch gets to the grading beds). The working speed is regulated by a frequency converter.

Description

Frame construction with a maximum number of openable guards ensures easy maintenance and cleaning. Easy access to the control systems allows two-sided regulation. Available in standard or reinforced version (H) to handle the desired throughput. With the maximum gap of 142mm, the reinforced models are suitable for sizing beetroots and celeriac.
