VS | Length grader

The VS Length Grader provides length sizing control for carrots. It can also be applied as a piece remover to remove small or broken pieces of carrots.

The sizing system uses a set of vibrating corrugated trays with adjustable spacing to direct small or broken pieces of carrots into a pallet container placed under the machine or onto conveyors located under the trays.

The charge unit consists of a flat tray equipped with special ‘fins’ that initially place the carrots length wise. The DS Length Sizer is manufactured in versions handling 1, 2 or 3 crop sizes + longer produce.
